Linux Security
This meeting was an informal demonstration of various Linux security utilities. There was also an impromptu Howto on resetting a lost root password using Knoppix.
Security Utilities

- nmap - Port scanner
- Nessus - Host vulnerability scanner
- nikto - Web server vulnerability scanner
- chkrootkit - Rootkit and intrusion detection tool

During the meeting Riskable demonstrated some nifty Linux eye candy and Crossover Office (Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office in Linux). Below are links to these tools:
