The Jacksonville Linux User's Group or JaxLUG is a diverse assembly of Linux users (beginners, casual desktop users, sysadmins, developers, and professionals) that have a passion for supporting Linux and Free Open Source Software/FOSS and live in or around Jacksonville, FL. The JaxLUG group meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month. Regular meetings take place at AT&T Building Auditorium accessed from the 2nd floor of the lobby. The meeting begins with social intermingling at 6:30PM and presentations start at 7:00 PM.

Typical JaxLUG Meeting Format:
- Arrival, setup, ... - 6:30 PM
- Introductions - ~6:45 PM

- Presentation, Topics, Ask-it/Q&A... - 7:00 PM
- Conclusion, summary, meetup, event reminders...
After meetings, many members head to a local restaurant for dinner and drinks. This is referred to as, "The Linux Meetup" see also, Linux Meetup.
