Welcome to the Jacksonville Linux User's Group Wiki!


The Jacksonville Linux User's Group or JaxLUG is a diverse assembly of Linux users (beginners, casual desktop users, system administrators, developers, and IT professionals) that have a passion for supporting Linux and Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and live in or around Jacksonville, Florida metropolitan area. JaxLUG Meetings


The JaxLUG meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month. Regular meetings take place at Peak 10. The meeting begins with social intermingling at 6:30PM and presentations start at 7:00 PM. JaxLUG meeting presenters and topics vary, for more information take a look at our Past Meeting Notes.

  1. Arrival, setup, pizza, sodas... - 6:30 PM
  2. Introductions - ~6:45 PM
  3. JaxLUG old biz, new biz, meeting topics, events...
  4. Presentation, Topics, Ask-it/Q&A... - 7:00 PM
  5. Conclusion, summary, meetup, event reminders...
